I am currently seeking representation for my upmarket speculative novel with body horror elements, complete at 70k words.
Logline: Plus-sized Maya feels invisible to the world until she develops a strange new addiction to eating fast fashion that seems to imbue her with an unnatural beauty. But when she lands a job at the clothing brand and becomes enmeshed in its dark secrets, she must decide if her beauty is worth the cost.
My novel would appeal to readers of “Rouge” by Mona Awad and “Natural Beauty” by Ling Ling Huang.
